Job Opportunity in Jordan: Design Trainer During Souq Fann Platform Workshop

In the framework of the Shiraka Program, Souq Fann and Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Amman are delighted to conduct a 6-days training titled “Product Design and Entrepreneurship” in Jordan for designers/artisans established in Amman and Maan governorates. The training aims to support the local producers by helping them to improve their products and enhance their entrepreneurship skills. Hence, Souq Fann is offering a job opportunity as a Design Trainer.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Professional experience in the design field
• Teaching experience 
• Holding a car driving license 

Dates and Agenda:

The training will take place twice in two different governorates:  Amman and Maan. 

• Amman: 28 - 31 March 2020
• Maan: 4 - 7 April 2020

The training curriculum should follow the following agenda:

• Day 1: Getting ready: The Importance of Questioning
• Day 2: Introduction to Design: Concept and Theories
• Day 3: Design Thinking: Part I - Problem Solving
• Day 4: Design Thinking: Part II - Prototyping 

 Note: Accommodation will be provided to the trainer for the Maan training.
