P&G offers an exceptional job opportunity as a Medical Manager specialized in personal healthcare to join the team in Dubai, UAE for 2020. As a Medical Manager, your main objective is to provide expert medical and scientific strategic leadership, enabling delivery of functional and commercial goals that are essential to the Middle East Personal Healthcare business. You will develop medical strategy and associated plans in full alignment to the business needs. This will include supporting the brand marketing strategies through HCP advocacy and endorsement, medical education, scientific orientations and training the sales force. Also, do the copy approval of promotional materials, ensure the compliance and medical governance in the country and build an effective KOL (Key Opinion Leader) management.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Effectively lead Medical-Scientific programs for Personal Healthcare (PHCI) brands.
  2. Build brand equity through driving scientific credibility, advocacy and endorsement with external stakeholders e.g KOLs, HCPs.
  3. Driving full compliance with Ethical and Medical scientific policies and standards, through successful implementation of medical governance framework and systems.

Qualifications:

  1. A university degree in MD, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, or PhD in Life Sciences.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Industry, preferably in the area of medical affairs/management.
  3. Experience in medicinal products, food supplements and medical devices.
  4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, product development standards, regulations and internal quality documents.
  5. Basic understanding of commercial and financial concepts, with the ability to integrate medical insights and knowledge to support delivery of business strategy and goals.
  6. Solution-orientated - ability to use credible science and fact-based argumentation to convince others or defend own opinions/ideas.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showing understanding for different mentalities, leading and collaborating with fairness and integrity.
  8. Working responsibly and independently, taking the initiative and accepting the accountability.
  9. Excellent decision-making skills, and goal-oriented leadership ability.
  10. Ability to work in a multi-functional and multinational environment, ability to build and maintain strong and trustful relationships.
  11. English and Arabic fluency.
