Opportunity description

Erasmus Intern is offering an internship opportunity in data science in the UK. The internship lasts six months, from 10 Jan 2021 to 11 Jul 2021, full-time. The host company is an AI start-up already working with the world’s leading aerospace and defense companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop code in python and UNIX scripts to build, deploy, and scale Enterprise AI software (adequate learning time/guidance will be provided).
Work in backend tech stack involving flask, Nginx, docker, node.
Develop an AI code to add new features to the Enterprise AI platform.
Develop and maintain a database linked to the Enterprise AI platform.
Develop unit test, integration test for CI/CD
Write code documentation following software engineering best practices.

Eligibility Criteria:

Studying for a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
Strong programming knowledge and experience in Python.
Basic knowledge of backend tech stack involving flask, Nginx, Docker, Postgres.
Basic working experience/knowledge in Unix/Linux environment.
Basic knowledge of containerized, e.g. Docker, applications.
Basic knowledge of GPU based highly parallel software development.
English: Independent User B2
