Paid Internship Opportunity in Data Science in the UK from Erasmus Intern

Erasmus Intern is offering a 6-month full-time Data Science internship at the European Student Placement Agency in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a data scientist, interested in solving business challenges through innovative AI technology. The host company is an AI start-up already working with the world’s leading aerospace and defence companies.

Eligibility and Requirements:-

• You must be a registered student or be eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ programme.

• You must be studying for a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related fields.

• Strong programming experience in Python/React/JavaScript/Node/HTML/CSS.

• Basic working experience/knowledge in Unix/Linux environment.

• Basic knowledge of containerised (e.g. Docker) applications.

• Basic knowledge of GPU based highly parallel software development.

• Good spoken and written English levels are required (B2 onwards).

Internship Areas:-

• Communication and Information Sciences. 
• Engineering and/or Technology.
• Mathematics and/or Informatics.

Tasks:-

• Develop attractive and intuitive dashboards with React, Nodejs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS to build, deploy and scale Enterprise AI software (adequate learning time/guidance will be provided).

• Develop AI code to add new features to the Enterprise AI platform.

• Develop unit test, integration test for CI/CD.

• Write code documentation following software engineering best practices.
