Opportunity description

Erasmus Intern is offering an internship opportunity at the World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM) in the Netherlands. WUWM is seeking someone passionate about the food sector (food security, sustainability, fresh logistics, and accessibility) able to understand WUWM’s crucial role in society and to help examine ways to grow the organization in terms of membership, sponsorship, international outreach, financial capabilities, and marketing strategies. In addition, They are looking for someone who understands basic financial reporting, business analysis, and is up-to-date with international financial institutions.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Conduct research into growth opportunities for WUWM (growing membership, sponsorship, partnerships, and international involvement)
  • Support in developing new marketing strategies
  • Benchmarking

  • Update WUWM on developments in international economic policy and international financial institutions

Eligibility criteria

Qualifications

  • The intern must be enrolled in/or recently completed a master's degree in international business, economics, business administration, (international) marketing, international relations, or a similar subject.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English is required; Working knowledge of French and Spanish is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in market research, financial administration, marketing strategies, and networking
  • Proven research, analytical, and documentation skills.
