Duties & responsibilities
- Execute and monitor the office’s financial and administrative operations.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.
- Monitor accounts, financial obligations, and revenue management.
- Manage treasury functions and cash flow operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and UNICEF financial policies and procedures.
- Provide technical and administrative support to staff and various departments.
- Contribute to knowledge management and institutional capacity-building initiatives.
- Supervise administrative and finance support staff when required.
Eligibility criteria
- University degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or financial auditing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong skills in financial planning, risk management, and financial analysis.
- Fluency in Arabic, French, and English.
- Previous experience with international organizations or United Nations agencies is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP or SAP systems and knowledge of international accounting standards are considered assets.
