Duties & responsibilities
- Teaching Chemistry to secondary school students following the British curriculum (GCSE / A-Level)
- Preparing interactive lesson plans combining theoretical explanation with practical experiments
- Conducting laboratory experiments and explaining scientific concepts in a simple and effective way
- Continuously assessing student performance and tracking academic progress
- Developing students’ scientific thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Managing the classroom effectively and ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Participating in school activities and science events
- Collaborating with the teaching team to improve teaching quality and academic outcomes
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE / B.Ed or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching at the secondary level
- Experience with the British curriculum (GCSE / A-Level)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Previous experience in the UAE or international schools is preferred
