A consultancy opportunity with UNICEF in Morocco 2026 in the field of Health & Nutrition aims to support the development of maternal and child nutrition policies and programs while strengthening healthcare and nutrition services in Morocco. The position offers the opportunity to work with UNICEF on public health, nutrition, and maternal and child health projects within a professional international environment.

Duties & responsibilities
- Updating national guidelines for nutrition and maternal and child health.
- Analyzing nutrition data and programs in Morocco.
- Preparing technical guidelines and reports.
- Supporting training programs and capacity building activities.
- Contributing to the development of awareness and healthy nutrition programs.
- Supporting the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (IHAB).
Eligibility criteria
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Maternal and Child Health, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in nutrition or public health.
- Experience in preparing health guidelines and manuals.
- Experience in data analysis and technical report writing.
- Knowledge of World Health Organization and UNICEF nutrition recommendations.
- Fluency in French.
- Arabic is considered an added advantage.
About the Position
UNICEF is seeking a consultant to support the updating and development of national policies and guidelines related to maternal, infant, and young child nutrition (MIYCN), in addition to supporting public health and nutrition programs in Morocco.
The consultant will work on:
- Developing health and nutrition guidelines and manuals.
- Analyzing nutrition-related data and studies.
- Supporting training programs for healthcare workers.
- Contributing to the development of health and nutrition programs for mothers and children.
- Supporting breastfeeding and healthy nutrition initiatives.
