UNICEF is offering an exciting opportunity for a Digital Impact Associate position at its office in Algiers, Algeria. The selected candidate will support digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiatives across UNICEF’s development and humanitarian programmes by contributing to the development of digital solutions, strengthening technical infrastructure, and supporting information technology operations that help improve services delivered to children and families.

Duties & responsibilities
- Support the implementation of digital impact and artificial intelligence initiatives across UNICEF programmes.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of digital solutions and data management systems.
- Manage and maintain technical infrastructure, including hardware, servers, and related IT systems.
- Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of digital tools such as SharePoint platforms and software applications.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and data protection measures to ensure secure digital operations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the digital transformation roadmap for the UNICEF Algeria Country Office.
Eligibility criteria
- Completion of secondary education is required as a minimum qualification.
- A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in information technology, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, or related areas.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and digital systems administration.
- Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and French.
- Knowledge of English is considered an additional asset.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, RapidPro, and artificial intelligence projects is highly desirable.
