The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has announced an exciting remote consultancy opportunity based in Amman, Jordan, within the global SIKAI Programme, which specializes in analyzing educational assessment data and using it to improve education policies. The role aims to support governments and education systems in strengthening their capacity to analyze and use educational data for evidence-based decision-making and improving the quality of education in low- and middle-income countries.

Duties & responsibilities
- Analyze educational assessment data and prepare technical reports.
- Support governments in using data for educational decision-making.
- Develop knowledge products and technical guidance materials related to education.
- Support national capacity-building in analyzing and using educational data.
- Document lessons learned and develop scalable models and approaches.
- Contribute to regional and global knowledge-sharing and exchange of expertise.
Eligibility criteria
- PhD in Education, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in education and educational data analysis.
- Experience in national or large-scale educational assessments.
- Experience working with governments or international organizations.
- Experience in preparing reports and knowledge products.
- Fluency in English.
