The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has announced an exciting consultancy opportunity in Algeria within the education and institutional development sector. The role aims to implement a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme in training engineering and capacity development in collaboration with the Algerian Ministry of National Education.
The consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes, developing educational materials and evaluation tools, and supporting the capacity-building of education sector professionals through modern and participatory training approaches.

Duties & responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme.
- Design training materials, assessment tools, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for educational institutions.
- Prepare documentation, evaluation reports, and final recommendations.
- Develop practical and participatory training tools and methodologies.
- Coordinate with the Ministry of National Education and relevant partners.
Eligibility criteria
- Degree in Education, Training Engineering, Educational Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in training, capacity development, or Training of Trainers (ToT).
- Experience in designing and implementing training programmes for public institutions.
- Strong understanding of the full training engineering cycle, including evaluation and monitoring.
- Fluency in Arabic and French, while knowledge of English is considered an added advantage.
- Experience in the education sector or working with international organizations is considered an advantage.
