Duties & responsibilities
The responsibilities of the English Teacher include:
- Teaching English in accordance with the approved British curriculum.
- Planning and delivering interactive lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Applying best teaching practices in the classroom.
- Assessing students’ performance and monitoring their academic progress.
- Using creative and engaging teaching methods.
- Collaborating with teachers, school leadership, and parents to support student learning.
- Contributing to extracurricular activities and school events.
- Participating in community initiatives organized by the school.
- Helping promote the school’s culture and values.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language, or a related field.
- Alternatively, possess a PGCE with QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Have strong knowledge of English language teaching.
- Be able to apply outstanding teaching practices.
- Demonstrate a creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
