GEMS Jumeirah Primary School in Dubai is inviting applications for the position of EYFS and Primary Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year, with the role expected to begin in August 2026.

The EYFS and Primary Teacher will be responsible for:

• Teaching early years students in accordance with the National Curriculum for England.
• Preparing and delivering interactive lesson plans suited to students’ ages, abilities, and learning needs.

• Developing students’ literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
• Monitoring student progress and assessing performance on an ongoing basis.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed.).
• Alternatively, hold a recognized teaching qualification such as:
  • PGCE
  • PGDE
  • Or an equivalent qualification in primary education
• Have experience teaching the British curriculum.
• Possess at least two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a solid understanding of EYFS teaching methods.
• Have previous experience working within a high-performing educational team.
• Show a proven record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Be committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Have a level of English proficiency suitable for professional teaching.
