Duties & responsibilities
The EYFS and Primary Teacher will be responsible for:
- Teaching early years students in accordance with the National Curriculum for England.
- Preparing and delivering interactive lesson plans suited to students’ ages, abilities, and learning needs.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for children.
- Developing students’ literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
- Monitoring student progress and assessing performance on an ongoing basis.
- Using innovative teaching methods that encourage curiosity, creativity, exploration, and independent learning.
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual needs and learning differences of students.
- Collaborating closely with teaching colleagues, school leadership, and parents.
- Participating in school activities, educational events, and extracurricular programmes.
- Complying with school policies and maintaining high standards of child safeguarding, welfare, and protection.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed.).
- Alternatively, hold a recognized teaching qualification such as:
- PGCE
- PGDE
- Or an equivalent qualification in primary education
- Have experience teaching the British curriculum.
- Possess at least two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a solid understanding of EYFS teaching methods.
- Have previous experience working within a high-performing educational team.
- Show a proven record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Be committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Have a level of English proficiency suitable for professional teaching.
