Opportunity description
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking five volunteers to serve as Field Team Leaders for the MM-II Technology Survey project in Türkiye. The selected volunteers will supervise field data collectors, monitor the quality of data collection activities, and ensure accurate implementation of surveys involving both migrant and host communities.
The role will contribute to the collection of reliable data that supports evidence-based decision-making and the design of humanitarian and development programmes.

Duties & responsibilities
- Supervise field data collection teams and monitor their performance.
- Assign survey locations and areas of responsibility to data collectors.
- Conduct field interviews and surveys with host communities and migrant populations.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of collected data.
- Prepare daily reports on field activities, progress, and operational challenges.
- Coordinate with local authorities and relevant stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.
Eligibility criteria
- High school diploma as a minimum educational qualification.
- Previous experience in field data collection, surveys, or related activities is preferred.
- Fluency in Turkish is required.
- Knowledge of Arabic is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural environments.
