Duties & responsibilities
- Conduct gender equality analyses to support the design of programs and policies.
- Support the integration of gender perspectives into UNDP projects and programs.
- Develop and deliver training sessions related to Gender Mainstreaming.
- Monitor the implementation of gender equality commitments and prepare analytical reports.
- Document best practices and lessons learned.
- Support the creation of knowledge platforms and knowledge-sharing initiatives with partners.
- Collaborate with program and management teams to ensure the achievement of the organization’s women’s empowerment goals.
Eligibility criteria
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Women’s Studies, or any related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience (for Master’s degree holders) or 4 years (for Bachelor’s degree holders) in gender equality and women’s empowerment.
- Experience with gender analysis tools and integrating gender issues into programs.
- Strong skills in monitoring, evaluation, and report writing.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and partners.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
