Hardware Engineering Summer Internship at Google in Taiwan

Google announces a Hardware Engineering Summer Internship in Taiwan.

You will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and deploy next-generation consumer hardware.
• Define board layout constraints and requirements, oversee physical engineering design layout, and work cross-functionally on system integration.
• Consumer hardware product excellence by developing automation tools to perform module and system-level validation and contribute to design optimization.
• You'll work cross-functionally with Designers, Engineers, and Contract Manufacturers to develop validation tools and deliver high-quality products in the market.
• Perform specific responsibilities which vary by project area.

You must have the minimum qualifications for this job:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in IC Design, Computer Architecture, Power Supply, Signal and Power Integrity, Wireless Communications, Hardware/System Validation.
• Experience in tools like Oscilloscope, Labview, Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity tools, VNA; programming languages like Python, and C/C++.

It's preferred to have:

• Returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
• Tech internships or work experience (i.e. research assistant, teaching assistant, personal projects outside the classroom, etc.) in Hardware, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Optical Engineering, or other related fields.
• Related test/design/manufacturing/prototyping tools experience.
• Coding skills.
