UNICEF is offering a consultancy opportunity for an Immunization Data Analytics and Programme Management Consultant position within its Centre of Excellence in Jordan. The consultant will support global immunization programs by analyzing health data, assessing vaccine coverage, and identifying populations and regions at risk of missing essential vaccinations. The role also involves transforming data and evidence into actionable recommendations that help governments and partners strengthen immunization programs and improve child health outcomes worldwide.

Duties & responsibilities
- Analyze immunization and vaccination program data at national and regional levels.
- Review and validate the quality and accuracy of reported immunization data.
- Prepare analytical reports and data files on vaccine coverage and immunization trends.
- Analyze data related to Zero-Dose Children who have not received any routine vaccinations.
- Identify priority geographic areas and population groups for health interventions.
- Develop evidence-based recommendations and strategies to improve immunization program performance.
- Support the preparation of advocacy materials, technical reports, and presentations.
- Provide technical reviews of reports, publications, and other products related to immunization and public health.
Eligibility criteria
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in public health or health data analysis.
- Experience in analyzing immunization data and vaccine coverage estimates.
- Knowledge of equity-based immunization programs and Zero-Dose Children analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, R, or Matlab.
- Strong data analysis and report-writing skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Previous experience with UNICEF, the World Health Organization (WHO), or similar international organizations is considered an asset
