Internship at Disney in USA: ABC Signature Creative Programming

Disney is offering ABC Signature Creative Programming internship, in California, United States for Summer 2022. ABC Signature is a leader in the development, production and strategic distribution of entertainment content across television and emerging digital platforms.

In this internship you will support the teams involved in developing and overseeing new and current drama and comedy shows for ABC, FX, Hulu, Disney+, Freeform, Amazon, Apple, and Epix amongst other platforms. The studio is a key content provider for Disney platforms, having produced multiple hit series, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Wilds,” “A Million Little Things,” “Dollface,” “Black-ish,” and its spinoff, “Grown-ish”. Throughout this internship, you will learn about the development process of seeing an idea through to a pilot and also learn how the executives manage our existing shows on a day to day basis. You will also get the opportunity to learn about other departments such as Casting, Music, and Production. This internship is an incredible opportunity for anyone who is looking to break into the television field. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Assistant shadowing – learns the ins and outs of being an executive assistant.
2. Logging and organizing submissions.
3. Join meetings and contribute to creative conversations.

1. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
2. Proven skills utilizing MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
3. Strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry.
4. Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
5. An awareness of ABC Signature Television shows.
6. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship experience within a related field.

Additional information:

1. All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
2. All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
3. All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship. Position is located in Burbank, CA.
4. Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
