Opportunity description
Microsoft announces internship opportunities in the field of business software management in Saudi Arabia. You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders from across the company to formulate, analyze, coordinate and improve various programs and processes at a strategic level.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assist others in conducting program research and analysis (e.g., internal and/or external market, sales, delivery), and examining business trends (e.g., customer feedback and expectations) to determine audience size and program scope.
- Improve existing software processes by helping to apply industry methodology, identify software issues, evaluate different scenarios, and choose the optimal scenario to solve the problems.
- Contribute to direction and strategy matters under necessary supervision related to the area of work expertise in order to assist in implementing plans that transform current priorities into new organizational initiatives and goals, and influence others to change their work behavior accordingly.
- Determine the vision and strategy for development and change.
- Assist others working with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. organizational, product and business stakeholders) to design software from initiation to delivery.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- You must be a Saudi citizen.
- Be a bachelor's degree student in Business, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field with at least a quarter/semester completed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and presentation skills.
- Permit to work fully in the Saudi Arabia.
It is preferable to have:
- Formal training in project management, operations, financial accounting, or business strategies.
- Ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends.
