Internship Opportunity at Kalmar in Europe: Human Resource Development

Kalmar is offering an internship opportunity in Helsinki, Finland. As it’s looking for a HRD trainee to join our HR team supporting Kalmar Mobile Solutions professionals globally in various countries in EUROPE, AMERICAS and APAC. In this work, you will get an excellent overview of the HR function in an international company and work with skilled professionals across the organisation in various roles. 

The HRD trainee role offers a great learning opportunity and a step forward in your career. This role is remote, meaning the selected candidate has the choice of working from one of Cargotec's locations based in EUROPE.

This position is a fixed-term position from May until the end of August. The desired start date is at latest in the mid of May. HRD trainee reports to the HR Director, Divisions within KAMOS Strategic Business Unit.

1. Support in monthly HR processes
2. A variety of HR responsibilities in both day-to-day and annual HR processes
3. Development of wellbeing and work life balance activities
4. Support in Talent Review process
5. Back up various tasks during summer holidays

1. Minimum 2-3 years of University studies on HR area with knowledge and understanding on people processes
2. Studies or work experience in Human Resources
3. Passion for development: people and organisational
4. Good written and spoken English is needed in the role
5. Interest and passion to learn about our customers, people, business and products
6. Ability to work in matrix organisation and to build networks 
7. Systematic working style
8. Ability to do independent work as well as teamwork
9. Problem solver with creative, positive mindset
10. Good skill in Google tools
11. Ability to collaborate in virtual setup
