Walt Disney offers an internship opportunity in the field of HR Analytics. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of Disney through meaningful and productive projects. You will be provided with challenging projects, performance feedback, valuable networking opportunities, and other activities to build culture and your resume. You will assist with special projects in the Studio Human Resources department, focusing on HR Business Partner initiatives to support the Studio Talent Strategies.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assist with the major Talent initiatives for HR with heavy focus on HR Analytics Projects.
- Partner with the HR Business Partners and functional teams to support key Talent initiatives.
- Act as the Project Lead under the guidance of HR partners for key initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
Basic Qualifications for the Job:
- Interest, experience or coursework in Human Resources or Organizational Development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to research and consolidate information to draw conclusions or tell a story.
- Strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications for the Job:
- Previous Human Resources or Organizational Development experience.
- Passion for the Disney brand.
Required Education for this Job:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program.
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or MBA with a focus in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a closely related field.
Preferred Education for this job:
- Previous Human Resources or Organizational Development experience.
Additional Information:
- The approximate dates of this internship are Sept – Dec.
- Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Work Environment: This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space and the ability to work independently.
