Internship Opportunity for Students in Photography from Disney in the USA

Disney is offering students an internship in photography in the USA. The intern must be available full-time for the duration of the internship from January to June 2022.

As a Photography Intern with Disney’s Yellow Shoes, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in every area of photography from award-winning professionals. While working in a consistently changing environment assisting with event set-up, photo retouch, and potential projects you will have the chance to use your creative knowledge to help create one-of-a-kind memories.

Basic Qualifications:

• Formal educational training in photography with a proficient understanding of technical skills in digital photography.
• Photography studio experience or equivalent.
• Experience with photographic coverage of celebrity /VIP visits for Public Relations and/or social media.
• An understanding of digital cameras; Nikon or other professional models.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
• A valid US driver’s license.
• The ability to operate a company vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting.
• The ability to work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions with prolonged standing and/or walking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Photo Mechanic.
• Studio lighting systems (Dynalite, ProFoto, BronColor).
• Digital photo montage development.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Macintosh environments.

Additional Information:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
• Currently earning a college/university degree is a minimum of a Junior in Commercial Photography or Photo Journalism.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Must provide own transportation to/from work.
