Job Opportunity as a Junior Devops Engineer at Aramex in Jordan

Aramex is offering a job opportunity in Amman, Jordan as a Junior Devops Engineer.

1. Responsible for configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on Windows IIS hosted platform.
2. Supporting development teams with application configuration for deployment, monitoring and other automation.
3. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
4. Testing, debugging and troubleshooting of platform level problems.
5. Develop PowerShell scripts to provide reliable and scalable automation
6. Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation according to the company standards.
7. Design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS
8. Identify opportunities to improve DevOps processes and collaborate with the team for solutions.

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT systems administration role
2. Should be an expert in configuring and administering Windows Server operating systems 2012/2016/2019, IIS 8.5+, WSUS.
3. You should have experience in administering and managing various Enterprise level Software applications.
4. You should have firm understanding of Windows Active Directory, Windows security including GPO, file system permissions, file sharing, event logging, performance monitoring and disk administration.
5. knowledge and experience using configuration and infrastructure management tools (Team City, Octopus Deploy, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Cloud Formation etc.)
6. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field
7. Excellent Command in English
