INGOT BROKERS is offering a job opportunity in Amman, Jordan as a Senior Payments Officer.
Duties & responsibilities
- Follow company processes, controls, and policies
- Create and take action on month-end accounts payable reports
- Receive invoices, perform necessary validations, and execute transactions with timeliness
- Resolve issues, serve as a resource in troubleshooting complex matters and ensure that problems are responded to in a timely manner
- Ensure company policies, processes, and procedures are clearly defined, updated, and documented
- Prepare, process, and submit check files, wire transfers, ACH payments, and other payment gateways
- Maintains historical records in both electronic form and paper form (filing documents)
- Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Eligibility criteria
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships across departments/divisions.
- Self-starter in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities
- Previous experience in a large organization including multi-corporate environments with many departments.
- Excellent supervisory and analytical skills.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience or more years of directly relevant experience in leading an accounts payable team or managing accounts payable functions.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
