Duties & responsibilities
- Lead the multi-year strategy for the CARE USA office in Jordan.
- Manage humanitarian and development programmes and oversee their implementation.
- Build partnerships with government entities, the private sector, and donors.
- Lead fundraising operations and project development initiatives.
- Oversee financial and operational management and risk management processes.
- Develop teams and strengthen a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Support institutional transformation and digital innovation within the organization.
- Ensure programme quality and achieve sustainable development impact.

Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in humanitarian work or international development.
- Previous experience in senior leadership positions such as Country Director or Deputy Country Director.
- Strong experience in financial and operational management and programme management.
- Experience in fundraising and donor relations.
- Fluency in English is required.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
- Previous work experience in the Middle East and North Africa region is preferred.
