The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has opened applications for a Senior ICT Associate position at its country office in Tunis, Tunisia, as part of the Information Management and Technology team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems at the IOM Tunisia office. This includes user support, network and systems administration, Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Azure and Intune, device and data security, as well as contributing to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
The position is aimed at professionals in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Administration, and Network Management who have practical experience working with Microsoft environments and technical support technologies.

Duties & responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Providing technical support to users up to Tier 2 level and resolving complex technical issues.
- Managing and monitoring support tickets while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Supporting the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including:
- Firewalls.
- Routers.
- Switches.
- Access Points.
- WAN Optimizers.
- Managing Microsoft 365 services, including:
- Exchange Online.
- Microsoft Teams.
- SharePoint Online.
- OneDrive.
- Managing and supporting Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Implementing IOM’s IT security policies and standards.
- Training and supporting users in the use of approved systems and technologies.
- Preparing and updating ICT manuals, procedures, and system documentation.
- Maintaining records of IT hardware, software, and software licenses.
- Supporting access control systems and managing access cards.
- Applying the organization’s data protection principles.
- Implementing and monitoring the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitoring server backup operations.
- Managing endpoint protection solutions, including:
- Microsoft Intune.
- BitLocker.
- Zscaler.
- Antivirus and EDR.
- Operating system updates.
- Providing recommendations to improve the performance and efficiency of IT services.
Eligibility criteria
To apply for the position, candidates must meet one of the following two pathways:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Or:
- Hold a high school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
Candidates are also required or preferred to have:
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.
- Experience supporting LAN networks.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory environments and Group Policy.
- Experience with Windows Server.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience in database or systems administration.
- Ability to support and maintain computers and network equipment.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Ability to analyze device compliance and security issues using Azure Intune.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
- Previous experience with international organizations or in humanitarian and development fields is considered an advantage.
Languages
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
- Knowledge of Arabic and French is considered an advantage.
