Jobs in Egypt: Regional Procurement Manager at Aramex

Aramex is looking for a Regional Procurement Manager to join the team and work in Cairo, Egypt. 

1. Set Regional procurement plan with Global Procurement Director and Regional Vice President.
2. Lead the regional purchasing budget exercise and capture full addressable spend.
3. Build a localized procurement strategy to support the business growth in key strategic markets.
4. Enhance the Procurement function KPIs and metrics, enforce performance against agreed SLAs to achieve the overall global procurement strategy.
5. Control cost/expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on purchasing cost.
6. Own and report sourcing activities with spend and achieve assigned savings targets.
7. Build relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications while attending to company procurement needs.
8. Evaluate and manage relationships with strategic suppliers to minimize cost and maximize benefits through adequate supplier management methodology from prequalification, due-diligence and performance review.
9. Collaborate with legal, financial and operational entities to draft and negotiate major agreements and supplier contracts.
10. Ensure adherence with the company procurement policies, systems, and procedures.
11. Assist the country local management teams in decision making related to purchasing requirements.
12. Effective post tender process management with internal and external stakeholders.
13. Effective management of contracts and renewals and all associated paperwork through the team processes and systems.
14. Manage and motivate the Procurement team.
15. Develop, train, mentor/coach and train direct reports.
16. Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically.

1. Formal qualification in Procurement and or similar experience.
2. Strong financial analysis and relevant legal knowledge.
3. SAP/Ariba experience with relevant procurement modules.
4. Minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience procurement experience.
5. Minimum of 5 years management experience.
