Opportunity description

Aramex is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Senior Marketing Executive to join the team in Cairo, Egypt. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Execute the defined Marketing strategy for Aramex, both for B2B and B2C, in all markets together with the central team.
  2. Plan & Implement the annual Marcom calendar in terms of digital campaigns, events, press conferences, activations, sponsorships and CSR.
  3. Strategize, manage and schedule Aramex social media campaigns across multiple platforms, Analyze the performance of all posts to optimize and enhance the performance of the posts/campaigns based on their objectives.
  4. Support the Content Strategist on defining and executing a roadmap of strategic localized content to help achieve our business goals in Egypt.
  5. Brainstorm with the Community Managers social content that is relevant and engaging for your market and support as needed on any other tasks required for Social.
  6. Provide the central team with key insights into the Egyptian market to help with the localization of our campaigns.
  7. Review incoming briefs and ensure all information needed is included before sharing with the central team.
  8. Stay up to date with the latest technology, trends and best practices in Social Media.
  9. Reporting: present and share ideas, results and gap analyses.
  10. Design, priorities and execute specific activities and marketing campaigns with the support of the central marketing team.
  11. Research influencers and brief agencies on upcoming campaigns.
  12. Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement.
  13. Help get the team’s work noticed and enter campaigns and creative assets for awards.
  14. Ensure that Arabic copy and tone is spot on.
  15. Give strategic input during prep phase of major campaigns.
  16. Recommendations to central marketing and product teams for enhancements and new features.
  17. Regularly re-visit our on-going communication strategy.
  18. Localization of content.
  19. Manage 3rd party relationships with content agencies + influencers.

Eligibility criteria

  1.  2+ years in a similar Marketing role.
  2. Degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or similar relevant field preferred but not essential.
  3. B2B & B2C experience crucial.
  4. Great understanding of the Egyptian market.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Arabic.
  6. In-depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels.
  7. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
  8. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  9. Team player.
  10. Good time-management skills.
  11. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  12. Good all-round understanding of marketing, content, partnerships, events + influencers.
