Duties & responsibilities
- Providing technical support to UNICEF offices and governments.
- Analyzing and utilizing educational assessment data.
- Preparing technical guidelines and educational reports.
- Supporting the design of educational policies.
- Developing knowledge products and analytical reports.
- Supporting education initiatives in crisis-affected countries.
Eligibility criteria
- Master’s degree or higher in Education, Economics, Public Policy, International Development, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in:
- Education
- Educational assessment
- Educational data analysis
- Education policy
- Experience with national or large-scale educational assessments.
- Experience working with governments or international organizations.
- Experience in preparing reports and knowledge products.
- Fluency in English.
About the Position
UNICEF is seeking an expert consultant to support the SIKAI Learning Assessment and Data Use Programme, which aims to strengthen the use of educational assessment data and improve education systems in low-resource and crisis-affected countries.
The consultant will work on:
- Supporting governments and UNICEF offices in using education data.
- Developing technical guidelines and manuals.
- Analyzing educational assessment results.
- Supporting education policy reforms.
- Preparing reports and knowledge products related to education and assessment.
