Mercy Corps IT Internship in Jordan for Fresh Graduates

Mercy Corps is offering IT internship opportunity for fresh graduates in Amman, Jordan.

LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:

Three Months.

Intern will remain responsible for all costs associated with:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

1. Assets the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
2. Assist MC staff with troubleshooting their issues and provide technical support.
3. Provide detailed documentation about MC staff laptops.
4. Ensure All MC staff Laptops are compliance with MC IT Global Policies and requirement.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

1. Hands-on experience troubleshooting laptops and printers
2. develop communication skills in the work place both verbally and in writing
3. Being introduced to Real world network infrastructure
4. Orientation about our network infrastructure Firewall, Domain Controller, Switches, Shared Folder System and Access points.

DELIVERABLES:

1. Provide Documentation about MC staff laptops, regarding Hardware, Software and laptop compliance with our requirements.
2. Apply MC Standards on laptops that are not compliant with MC standards.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. B.A or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, Management. Information Systems, networking or any related IT fields, CCNA certification OR/And A+ certification is desirable.
2. Strong verbal and written communication both in Arabic and English.
3. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
4. Energetic and eager to learn.
5. Ability to work well in teams.
6. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
