The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced a job opportunity within its Health and Migration Unit to support migrants during medical appointments and healthcare services. The role aims to accompany beneficiaries to healthcare facilities, provide basic administrative and psychosocial support, and ensure that migrants receive healthcare services in a safe and dignified manner.
The selected candidate will coordinate medical appointments, support administrative procedures within healthcare institutions, follow up on cases, and coordinate with medical teams and health partners to facilitate service delivery for migrants and vulnerable groups.

Duties & responsibilities
- Accompany migrants to healthcare facilities and medical appointments.
- Support the completion of medical documents and forms.
- Assist with registration and follow-up procedures within healthcare institutions.
- Provide basic psychosocial support to beneficiaries during medical visits.
- Coordinate with medical teams and healthcare partners.
- Prepare daily records and activity reports.
- Support emergency health referrals and follow up on cases.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in healthcare work or working with vulnerable groups is considered an advantage.
- Good communication and humanitarian work skills.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures within healthcare institutions.
- Fluency in Arabic and French, while knowledge of English is considered an added advantage.
