The Operations Manager will oversee the office’s operational functions, including finance, human resources, information technology, logistics, and risk management, ensuring efficient operations and effective support for UNICEF programs benefiting children. The role also involves developing operational strategies, strengthening partnerships, and optimizing resource utilization to achieve organizational goals efficiently and effectively.

Duties & responsibilities
- Oversee the office’s operational and administrative functions.
- Manage financial resources, budgets, and financial reporting processes.
- Lead risk management and institutional compliance activities.
- Supervise human resources and administrative services.
- Manage information technology, communications systems, and logistics operations.
- Develop operational systems and structures to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and strengthen partnerships to support organizational objectives.
- Support the implementation of national-level operational strategies and plans
Eligibility criteria
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Public Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations management, financial management, logistics, or human resources.
- Proven experience in budget management, institutional operations, and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in Arabic and French; knowledge of English is considered an asset.
- Previous experience with the United Nations, international organizations, or humanitarian settings is highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, grant management, and partnership management is considered an advantage.
