McKinsey & Company is offering an exceptional Proposal Internship to join the Social, Healthcare and Public Entity team in Bogota, Colombia. The intern will focus on proposal development for clients operating in the Spanish speaking Latin America region, and will be involved in strategic discussions as you assist the consulting teams and the sector and practice leaders to expand the firm's impact in the region.
Duties & responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll help partners and teams win proposals by developing high quality proposal responses.
- On a specific proposal, you will support the assembly and review of proposal drafts.
- You will edit materials and ensure final formatting and layout of proposals in preparation for production.
- Working collaboratively with teams, you will also play a key role in supporting the team with organizing and developing content for non-technical portions of the proposal response such as staffing, resumes, experience (firm/team) and client reference cases.
Eligibility criteria
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Law or related areas.
- Outstanding academic performance.
- Demonstrated experience and/or proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to interact collaboratively with consultants forging effective relationships across client service teams.
- Superb organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
