Remote Good Morning America Production Internship at USA at Walt Disney

Walt Disney offers a remote Good Morning America Production Internship at USA. Good Morning America interns may have the opportunity to help find story ideas, and work with producers in bringing those stories to air. All interns are included on daily editorial meetings and will leave the internship understanding how the morning show operates.

• The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - January 2023.
• You must be available to work 40 hours/week in Eastern Standard time for the duration of the internship- could be nights, weekends and possible overnights.
• At the time of application, you must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship.
• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship.
• You must possess unrestricted work authorization.

You will be responsible for:

• Participate on some editorial meetings and in all phases of television production.
• Assist in show production.

You must have:

• Strong writing and research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interest in journalism.
• Willingness to work early mornings, late nights or weekends as needed throughout the assignment.

It's preferred to have:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Previous internship experience, either print or broadcast.
• Some experience related to social media including Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram
