Opportunity description
Erasmus Intern announces a remote internship opportunity with the No to Hate Speech Network. The No to Hate Speech Network (NHSN) is an international organization that aims to prevent and counter hate speech by mobilizing and networking individuals and organizations in support of human rights and democracy, both online and offline. The network empowers young people and stakeholders to think critically, counter hate speech, and provide support to those targeted. The network is seeking a motivated and creative intern with an interest in social justice, youth empowerment, and hate speech awareness in Europe to support its various work.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in coordinating and managing NHSN projects and campaigns.
- Promoting network initiatives and events.
- Creating content for NHSN's social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook).
- Contributing to campaign designs, content writing, and digital communications.
- Participating in online meetings and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Identifying various fundraising opportunities for the network and its members.
- Writing applications for available EU and other funding
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- You must be eligible for an internship grant (such as an Erasmus grant, university scholarship, or similar).
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- A willingness to learn, a sense of initiative, and the ability to work remotely.
- The ability to work independently and within a team.
- This internship will be remote, so a reliable internet connection and the flexibility to collaborate online are essential to be considered for this opportunity.
You will preferably have:
- Knowledge or experience with the "No to Hate Speech" movement or similar initiatives.
- Experience in advocacy, human rights, and youth organizations.
- Skills in graphic design, video editing, and digital campaigning.
- A passion for promoting equality and combating hate speech.
- Preference will be given to candidates able to commit for longer periods.
- The Foundation welcomes candidates from all educational backgrounds, provided they are eager to learn.
