Orange offers a full-time job opportunity for the position of senior UX designer in Jordan. As a senior team member, you should stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design. As well as, conduct user research to gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user personas and user journeys.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Ensure that the design aligns with accessibility and usability best practices.
- Craft intuitive and responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain design systems and pattern libraries.
- Implement interaction design principles to create engaging user interfaces.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the seamless translation of designs into functional code.
- Design visually appealing user interfaces that align with its brand identity and guidelines.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and design assets for development teams.
- Utilize typography, color theory, and iconography to enhance the visual appeal of its products.
- Stay updated with current design trends and incorporate them into your work when relevant.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, business goals, and technological constraints.
- Continuously enhance the usability and user satisfaction of the products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and sharing best practices.
- Lead design discussions, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Proactively propose and experiment with new design concepts and solutions.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including design guidelines and specifications.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure that design aligns with business objectives and user needs.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or computer science.
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of usability principles, accessibility guidelines, and responsive design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem Solving, Creativity, and Collaboration skills.
- English Language Proficiency.
- Experience with user research methodologies.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
- Certifications in UX design are a plus.
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions is a Plus.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a Plus.
