Opportunity description
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announces an internship opportunity in communications and social media management within the People Programmes and Partnerships team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The internship aims to support UNDP Careers platforms through content management, campaign planning, collecting employee stories, and analyzing content performance across social media platforms.

Duties & responsibilities
- Assist with the daily management of UNDP Careers platforms on Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Publish content and respond to inquiries when needed.
- Contribute to planning the content strategy for social media platforms.
- Collect testimonials and stories from UNDP employees and turn them into suitable content for publication.
- Collect data and analyze the impact of the content strategy according to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the preparation of reports for external partners on communication results.
- Conduct research on best practices according to the required projects.
- Support any additional tasks related to the team’s activities.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must be in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, currently enrolled in a master’s program, or have graduated from a master’s degree or equivalent within the past year.
- The field of study must be communications, digital media, journalism, political science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in social media is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, such as InDesign, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage.
- Having the legal right to live and work in Denmark is essential, as the opportunity is only available to applicants who have the legal right to reside and work there.
