2021 Cortoons Gandia International Animated Film Festival

Film FreeWay invites filmmakers to be part of the CORTOONS GANDIA FESTIVAL, which is going to be held in OCTOBER 2021, FROM 21 TO 24.

Cortoons Gandia is the International Animated Film Festival of Gandia, organized by Cortoons Festival, the city of Gandia, la Generalitat Valenciana, through the Institut Valenciá de Cultura (Culturarts), and the participation of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) Campus de Gandia.

Festival Categories:

• International animated short film from 1 to 4 minutes
• International animated short film from 4 to 20 minutes
• Spanish animated short film
• Spanish animated short films produced in the Valencian Community
• Graduation animated film

The festival will be offering the following awards:

• Best short film between 1 to 4 minutes long.
• Best short film between 4 to 20 minutes long.
• Best Spanish Short Film
• Best Valencian production short film
• Best short film made by schools
• Special mention: Best short film.
• Gandia City Council Award: Award for the best European short film.
• Moll Autos Award for the best Spanish short film about creativity in motion.

• All the national and international producers and filmmakers who wish to participate can register.
• an unlimited number of works, which meet the registration requirements.
• The limit of duration is 20 minutes for short film.
• Works may take place after January 1st, 2019.
• There is no limit to animation techniques.
• The required format for the screening is: .mov, .mpeg y .mp4 con codec H264.
• There is no participation fee.
• The shipping costs, via online, will be borne by the person/company that presents the opera.
• Once the registration has been made, the film can not be removed.
• It will be necessary to attach a minimum of two images of the film in JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and the film synopsis.
• Movies in languages ​​other than English will have to include English subtitles.
• You hereby authorize the reproduction and transmission purposes promotional and archive of 20% of the work, up to a maximum of 3 minutes.
