International Competition for Students and Artists and a Chance to Win € 300,00

Raed Cartoon is pleased to announce the start 26th edition of the international competition; Fax for Peace International competition. It is open to students of all grades and types of schools and to professional artists from all over the world. This time the competition requires to submit one or more works developing the themes of peace, tolerance, fight against any form of racism and of defense of human rights.

Competition Categories:

1. Kindergarten and Primary Schools Category.
2. Lower Secondary Schools. 
3. Secondary High Schools.
4. Video or Cartoon.
5. Artists.
6. Satirical or Humorous Drawing. 

If you are among the winners, you will get one of the following prizes:

• Best Work in each category: € 300,00.
• Special Prize: BEST WORK to satirical or humorous drawing on human and civil themes: € 300,00.

You should follow the following terms:

• The videos can be shot/made in the most common formats (AVI, MPEG, Real Video, QuickTime, Video for Windows, etc.).
• On each work it is necessary to indicate:
• full name, name of school and grade/class (if students).
• telephone and fax number and/or e-mail address, city, country.
• Single students will also have to specify their school address, their age and the class attended.
• Competitors implicitly authorize the school to reproduce and use their works in the catalogue and in different media for no-profit activities.
• The organization cannot be held responsible in case of theft, damage or loss of the works.
• Works will not be returned or retransmitted to their authors.

Selection Process:

Your work will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Development of proposed themes.
• Effectiveness.

About Raed Cartoon:

Raed Cartoon is a website interested in the field of cartooning in addition to the artist's news and festivals all over the world, founded by the Syrian artist Raed Khalil. Raed Khalil is a Syrian cartoonist born in Syria on March 1, 1973 who started working in publications in 1988. As well, founded the website “Syria Cartoon” and founded the International Cartoon Competition in Syria in 2005.
