Drawing Competition and a Chance to Win Gold Medal from Raed Cartoon

Raed Cartoon is pleased to announce the start of the 6th Artoonist International Seasonal Festival events and a drawing competition. It launched this time with a free theme. However, the subject of the photos, digital paint, and cartoons must be humor.

If you are among the winners, you will get:

1. A gold medal.
2. A certificate of attendance and a book of the festival as a gift for all those whose works are published in the festival catalog.  

 Please note: Five people in each section will be awarded a gold medal along.

You should follow the following criteria:

• The subject of the photos, digital paint and cartoon must be humor.
• Humor theme can include; everyday life and activities, behaviors of politicians, war, street protests, etc.
• Artwork should be :
• Number of works : 5 works.
• Template : color and black & white.
• Size of works : max A3 and min A4.
• Format : 300 DPI, JPEG, and RGB format.
• The festival is not responsible for the copy works that are intentionally sent to the Artoonist festival.
• The original of the selected works will be displayed for sale in an annual exhibition in coordination with the owners of the works during one year.
• For all the works published in the exhibition book, a certificate of attendance and an electronic catalog will be sent.
• The owner of selected or published works in the festival book that will later be proven to be a copy, the work will be permanently removed from the Artoonist Festival competition.
• The festival is allowed to use the works sent to the festival and the selected ones in the form of books, postcards, posters for advertising purposes.
•  Participating in the festival means accepting all the rules of the festival.

• Deadline: 20 March 2022.
• Judging works: 4 April 2022.
• Introducing the chosen ones : 20 April 2022.

About Raed Cartoon:

Raed Cartoon is a website interested in the field of cartooning in addition to the artist's news and festivals all over the world, founded by the Syrian artist Raed Khalil. Raed Khalil is a Syrian cartoonist born in Syria on March 1, 1973 who started working in publications in 1988. As well, founded the website “Syria Cartoon” and founded the International Cartoon Competition in Syria in 2005.
