<p>SIDA for industrial design invites you all to design the gadget/souvenir for all the participants of the 7th edition of the Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair (SZIDF) taking place on November 03rd-05th, 2019. The gadget/souvenir shall be a NON-technological product. The winner will be selected by a jury consisting of high-level representatives of SIDA and Desall. The official award ceremony will be held in Shenzhen on the night of Nov 3rd, 2019. The winner will be given the opportunity to showcase her/his own works at the fair with a free stand and all travel and accommodation expenses covered by the organization.</p><h3><strong>Eligibility:</strong></h3><ol><li>Participation is free of charge and open to designers and creative talents of any nationality.</li><li>You must be aged 18 years old or older.&nbsp;</li><li>Participants can present one or more projects, but only the projects published on the www.desall.com website, via the upload page related to &ldquo;SZIDF 2019 Gadget Design Award&rdquo; will be accepted.</li><li>For the correct realization of your proposals, keep into consideration the guidelines <a href="https://www.desall.com/Contest/SZIDF-2019-Gadget-Design-Award/Brief" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.</li></ol><h3><strong>Evaluation Criteria:&nbsp;</strong></h3><p>in the evaluation of your submissions the Jury will take into account the following criteria:<br>Technical feasibility (5/5).<br>Brand compliance (5/5).<br>Functionality/usability (4/5).<br>Aesthetics (4/5).<br>Degree of Innovation (3/5).</p><h3><strong>Prizes:</strong></h3><p>The first winner will receive the following:</p><ol><li>International round-trip flight tickets + 4 nights at quasi five-star hotel + airport pick-up &amp; drop-off.</li><li>A standard booth of 6m x 6m + booth setup (in addition to the products and works of the winner, the booth may also host materials regarding Desall and the award).</li><li>Product prototype.</li><li>One onsite bilingual (English-Chinese) assistant.</li><li>One advertising page in the SZIDF catalogue.</li><li>One page image-text presentation ads on SZIDF website for two years.</li><li>Promotion in SZIDF community.</li><li>Networking opportunities with design masters and design leaders.</li><li>Free pass to all the concurrent forums and workshops.</li><li>Award ceremony during the designers night of SZIDF on Nov 3rd, 2019.</li></ol><p>Note: The services offered for the award are equal to about EUR 11,000.</p><h4><strong>About the Company:</strong></h4><p>Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2008, the first Chinese association joining World Design Organization (WDO). Till March 2018, SIDA has taken in 851 members from Shenzhen and across the country, and has built the Shenzhen Institute for Innovation Design, the Sino-Finnish Design Park, the Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab (SZOIL), the Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center (HIDC), an industrial internet design platform and first the industrial design IPR station in China.
