Opportunity description

The Arab Institute for Human Rights (AWRI) is presenting its annual regional training course on human rights known as Anabtawi 28 under the title "The protection of individual rights, a safeguard of human dignity" during the period from 29 September 2018 to 07 October 2018. The course aims at to empower and strengthen the capacity of 30 activists from human rights organizations which are specialized in the field of human rights in the Arab region. This course is divided into two sections, the first one is online and while the other will be held in Tunisia.

The process of selection and participation in the training program has a number of stages are as follows:

[1] Receipt of candidacy cards for the distance learning program.

[2] The meeting of the training committee at the Institute to select the participants admitted in the distance training stage. Due to the large number of applications for candidacy, the committee will communicate only with those accepted.

[3] Remote Training and Testing Program: 16-16-2018 to 25-07-2018.

[4] Selection of the participants accepted to train directly and corresponding them formally to prepare to come to Tunisia.

[5] Anabtawi 28 course program with direct attendance in Tunisia: 29/09-2018 to 07-10-2018.

Applicants must:

[1] Be active members with responsibility in intermediate or leading organizational levels at a human rights center or organization.

[2] Have a knowledge about the theoretical fundamentals of the human rights system.

[3] Have practical experience in the field of human rights protection.

[4] Have a university degree.

[5] Not be more than 40 years old.

Note: Accepted applicants must pay the fee of documents and registration in both the distance training and direct training course "Anabtawi 28", which cost about 500 US dollars.
