To recognize academic achievement and to attract the best science students from across the globe, the Faculty of Science at Strathclyde in the UK is offering a range of scholarships for international students.
Value of scholarship:
£3000 scholarships towards course tuition fees are available in each year of study of a full-time Ph.D. program
Majors included:
Chemistry, Computer and information sciences, Mathematics and statistics, Pharmacy and biomedical sciences, Physics, Forensic science.
Eligibility:
To apply for a Science Elite scholarship, candidates must:
- be available to commence their academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September/October.
- hold an offer of study on a course at the University of Strathclyde
- be paying full international fees
Note: Some scholarships have restrictions on other funding you can accept. This means that you if you are awarded two Strathclyde scholarships you will have to decide which scholarship to accept.
The University of Strathclyde
The University of Strathclyde was established by Royal Charter in 1964, with a history dating back to 1796 and the founding of Anderson's Institute. The Charter sets out the power and functions of the University as well as identifying the key officers and committees within the University's structure.
