<p>Chevening program is offering fully-funded <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Master’s Scholarships</strong></a> for Jordanian students who want to focus on achieving their academic goals and enjoying the experience of a lifetime. The applicants will be able to develop themselves professionally and academically and grow their network. Chevening is the <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Kingdom" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>UK</strong></a> Government’s global scholarship program that offers funded scholarships awarded to outstanding professionals from all over the world to pursue a one-year master’s degree in any subject at any UK university.</p><h3><br></h3><p><br></p>

<ol><li>University tuition fees.</li><li>A monthly stipend.</li><li>Travel costs.</li><li>An arrival allowance.</li><li>A homeward departure allowance.</li><li>The cost of one visa application.</li><li>A travel <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Grants" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">grant</a> to attend Chevening events in the UK.</li></ol><p><br></p>

<p>To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:-</p><ol><li>Be a Jordanian citizen.</li><li>Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended.</li><li>Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate program. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honors degree in the UK.</li><li>Have at least two years of work experience.</li><li>Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 16 July 2020.</li><li>Meet the Chevening English language requirement by 16 July 2020 which includes taking one of the following English language tests:</li></ol><ul><li class="ql-indent-1">Academic IELTS.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Pearson PTE Academic.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">TOEFL iBT.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English: Advanced [CAE]).</li><li class="ql-indent-1">&nbsp;Trinity ISE II (B2).</li></ul><p>Claiming an exemption is allowed based on the UKVI exempt categories.</p><h3>Work Experience Conditions:</h3><ol><li>Work experience can be completed before, during, or after graduating from your undergraduate studies, however, any mandatory employment that counted towards your undergraduate or postgraduate course would not be eligible.</li><li>You do not need to meet the work experience requirement in one period of employment. Applicants can submit up to ten different employment periods in order to meet the requirement.&nbsp;</li><li>If you are currently employed, it is not a requirement of Chevening that you resign from your position.&nbsp;</li><li>You are advised to discuss your application with your employer and it is your responsibility to ensure that they will release you if you are selected for a Chevening <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scholarship</a>.</li><li>A working week comprises 35-60 hours and a working year comprises 40-50 weeks so the minimum number of hours an applicant must have before applying is 2,800 hours for two years’ work experience.</li><li>The types of work experience that are eligible for Chevening can include:-</li></ol><ul><li class="ql-indent-1">Full-time employment.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Part-time employment.</li><li class="ql-indent-1"><a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Volunteer-Work" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Voluntary&nbsp;</a>work.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Paid or unpaid internships.</li></ul><h3>Eligible Courses:</h3><p>In order to be eligible, the courses you choose must:</p><ol><li>Be full-time.</li><li>Start in the autumn term (usually September/October).</li><li>Taught master’s (i.e. not research-focused MRes programs).</li><li>Lead to a master’s degree qualification.</li><li>Based in the UK.</li></ol><p>Courses cannot be:</p><ol><li>Part-time.</li><li>Distance learning.</li><li>Less than 9 months in duration.</li><li>More than 12 months in duration.</li><li><a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ph.D.</a> or DPhil.</li><li>Taught with more than one month of study outside the UK.</li></ol><h3>About the organization</h3><p>Chevening is the UK government’s international awards programme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships – the recipients of which are personally selected by British embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.
