The University of Miami is offering the Stamps <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships">Scholarship</a> for undergraduate students. The Stamps Scholarship is the most prestigious merit award available to students at the University of Miami.&nbsp;<h3 dir="ltr">Terms and Conditions:</h3><ul><li dir="ltr">You must complete a full-time undergraduate program of study with no fewer than 12 credit hours during each of the fall and spring semesters for a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">A minimum of a 3.0 GPA for the academic year must be maintained at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation at the end of the second semester of attendance.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">The award is subject to revision pending receipt of any <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Grants">grant</a>, scholarship, or prepaid tuition and/or housing aid not anticipated at the time the award is made.</li><li>You can visit the terms and conditions <a href="https://finaid.miami.edu/applying-for-aid/terms-and-conditions/index.html">page</a> for more information.</li></ul><h3 dir="ltr">Benefits:</h3><ul><li dir="ltr">Stamps Scholars receive the full cost of attendance for four years of undergraduate study at UM.</li><li dir="ltr">The award includes:<ul><li dir="ltr">On-campus housing.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">A meal plan.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">University health insurance.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Textbooks.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">A laptop allowance.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Access to a $12,000 enrichment fund which may be used toward study abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Internships">internships</a>, <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Events-Festivals-and-Conferences">conferences</a>, leadership development, and other educational purposes mutually agreed upon by the University of Miami and Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.</li></ul></li><li dir="ltr">Additional benefits of the Stamps Scholarship include being part of the Stamps Scholars on-campus and national communities, funding to support academic and scientific research projects, cultural and leadership programs, study abroad, conventions and other regional conferences, and invitations to online events and networking opportunities.</li></ul><h3 dir="ltr">Selection Process:</h3><ul><li dir="ltr">Selected candidates for the Stamps Scholarship are invited to participate in the Scholarship Weekend at the University of Miami in the spring.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">During this two-day weekend program, candidates will meet with UM faculty and current scholars and learn more about our interest-driven education.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">After the weekend, a selection committee identifies finalists whom they recommend to receive the Stamps Scholarship based on the students&#39; overall achievement and performance during the weekend.&nbsp;</li><li dir="ltr">Finalists participate in an additional interview with the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3 dir="ltr">Required Documents:</h3><ul><li>Official High School Transcripts</li><li dir="ltr">ACT and/or SAT Test Score. Students may:<ul><li dir="ltr">Request that official scores be sent to the University directly from the testing agency.</li><li dir="ltr">Self-report their scores on the Common Application. You will not need to Superscore your own results or recalculate your scores. Simply enter your scores exactly as you receive them.
