<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/organization/The-American-University-in-Cairo#!/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The American University in Cairo</a> is offering International Graduate <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Fellowships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Fellowships&nbsp;</a>to highly qualified international students who wish to pursue full-time study toward a <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">master's&nbsp;</a>degree in one of the graduate programs at AUC.<h3>Duration:</h3>Two academic years and the intervening summer session, with a review every semester for satisfactory academic performance.<h3>Award:</h3>The fellowship covers:<ul><li>Tuition fees, for a maximum of nine credits per semester.</li><li>Student services and activities fees.</li><li>Monthly stipend.</li><li>Medical service and health insurance.</li><li>Monthly housing allowance or accommodation in the University residences at AUC New Cairo.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities of Fellows:</h3><ul><li>In support of their professional training, fellows are assigned 12 hours per week of related academic work.</li><li>A Teaching Assistantship mandatory training must be completed if the fellow is involved in teaching assistantship duties.&nbsp;</li><li>The training needs to be completed only once.</li></ul>Responsibilities of Teaching Assistants:<ol><li>Attend and observe classes of the course to which they are assigned.</li><li>Take attendance in classes, labs and in presence of the course instructor.</li><li>Run trials of the work to be carried out by students prior to the lab.</li><li>Support students in carrying out experimental and creative work in labs.</li><li>Assist in preparing answer keys for assignments, where applicable.</li><li>Assist in grading the quantitative components of the course, weighted assessments such as assignments, quizzes, reports, and exams.</li><li>Assist in recording and/or calculating students’ grades.</li><li>Assist in uploading course material onto online course management tools (e.g. Blackboard).</li><li>Assist in preparing course material under the guidance of the course instructor.</li><li>Conduct revision, review, and/or problem sessions that do not require the introduction of new materials to students.</li><li>Lead in-class discussions and group activities that do not require the introduction of new materials to students.</li><li>Assist in proctoring quizzes and/or exams, in the presence of the course instructor.</li><li>Hold office hours.</li></ol>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Internships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">internships</a> on For9aSee more <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Kingdom" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">opportunities in the UK</a> available on For9a
