Fully and Partially Funded Undergraduate Scholarships for Egyptians at AUC 2021

The American University in Cairo (AUC) is offering five full/partial scholarships to Thanaweya Amma graduates from five governorates in Upper Egypt: Assiut, Beni Suef, Minya, Sohag, and Fayoum. Selected students benefit from AUC’s liberal arts education, diverse majors, and extensive student-life services.

The scholarship will cover:

• Full/partial tuition fees
• Housing in a double room at the AUC dorms
• Book allowance

Applicants must fulfill the below criteria:

• Nationality: Egyptian
• High school Thanaweya Amma graduates in the academic year 2020-2021 from public or private schools from the following governorates: Assiut, Beni Suef, Minya, Sohag, and Fayoum.
• Have an outstanding secondary school academic record.
• Meet AUC admission requirements.
• Demonstrated financial need.
• Leadership potential and active participation in community service and school activities.
• Recent official valid IELTS test results, with a minimum score of 5.5 in both writing and total score or TOEFL iBT test results with a minimum of (62-75) as a total score and a minimum of (17-19) in writing.
