Monash University Malaysia is offering postgraduates from all over the world the opportunity to apply for all postgraduate by research scholarships (Master and PhD) in priority areas of research at the university. Programs will be in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Engineering, the School of Information Technology, the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the School of Pharmacy and the School of Science. The Monash University Malaysia Graduate Research Merit Scholarships are tenable at Monash University Malaysia only, and are not transferable to Monash University Australia. Students will need to maintain satisfactory academic progress, as scholarships are limited and awarded on a competitive basis.
Eligibility:
[1] Applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements (academic and English language proficiency) for the relevant degree
[2] Applicants must have an equivalent of a high distinction average (H1 or First Class Honors) from a recognized university
[3] International students must participate in Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) or research support
What the scholarship covers:
Each scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees, plus a living allowance as follows:
[1] Masters by Research - RM2,600/month (up to 24 months of candidature)
[2] Doctor of Philosophy - RM2,600/month (up to 42 months of candidature)
