University of East Anglia in the UK is offering Global Voices master’s scholarships for African writers. This scholarship is available to an applicant who has applied for a place on the MA Creative Writing Prose Fiction, Biography and Creative Non-Fiction, Scriptwriting or Poetry in the School of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing who is a national of any country within Africa or who was born in any country within Africa. The scholarships are awarded to applicants who show outstanding creative writing potential and financial need.

Eligibility criteria
You must fulfill the following criteria:
- A study field of literature, drama, and creative writing.
- A national of any country within Africa or who was born in any country within Africa or whose parents were both born in Africa.
- The scholarships are awarded to applicants who show outstanding creative writing potential and financial need.
- The awards are made for one year with an annual value of £20000.
