Heinz-Kühn-Foundation in German offers young journalists from developing countries nationals <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Grants" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">grants&nbsp;</a>to attend&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Internships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">training&nbsp;</a>in North-Rhine-Westphalia for up to three months, so they get to gain professional journalism experience.

<ol><li class="ql-align-justify">A lump-sum contribution towards living and training expenses.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">A lump-sum allowance for flight and traveling expenses (the foundation pays a return air ticket).</li><li class="ql-align-justify">An allowance for internal trips.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">An allowance to cover the costs of research materials.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">A German language course of up to four months at the Düsseldorf or Bonn based Goethe-Institut, if necessary.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">In the lead-up and throughout the duration of the grant, the Heinz-Kühn-Foundation will provide support.</li></ol>

<ol><li class="ql-align-justify">Keen interest in development issues.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Substantial professional experience under-belt (a completed college education in <a href="https://www.for9a.com/specialities/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%A9-%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A5%D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%85-Media-and-Journalism" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">journalism</a> is desirable).</li><li class="ql-align-justify">35 years of age, or younger.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Good commandو or at least a basic knowledge of the German language.</li></ol><h3 class="ql-align-justify">Required Documents:</h3><ol><li class="ql-align-justify">Curriculum vitae in tabular form, and a photograph.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Certificates of vocational training and present occupation.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">German language certificates.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Letter of motivation in German.</li></ol><h3>About The Heinz-Kühn-Stiftung:</h3>The Heinz-Kühn-Stiftung is a public foundation of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia which is exclusively and directly following non-profit purposes.
